Previously a wrong target could only be\n  corrected with a raw `rad cob update` action.\n- Opening a patch with `git push -o patch.target=<branch>` now warns when\n  the target has no canonical reference rule, or has a rule but no commits\n  yet. The push and subsequent patch creation still succeeds, because a branch only becomes a canonical\n  reference after a push to it reaches quorum.\n\n## Fixes\n\n- `rad patch show` no longer fails with `reference '<branch>' not found`\n  when the patch targets a branch that is not a canonical reference of the\n  repository. The commit count is reported as unknown and the rest of the\n  patch is shown.",
